Users with low vision issues may find that double-clicking an icon is not an easy task.
The AppLaunch utility overcomes that issue by providing a means of single-clicking on a button to open EZReader.
There are actually 4 different AppLaunch applications, with 1,2,5 and 7 buttons - each button corresponding to one of the EZReader applications.
A user can single-click on one of the AppLaunch buttons and have EZReader open to the specific application immediately without having to first open EZReader and then click on the application toolbar icon once EZReader opens.
The icons on of the the 1,2,5 and 7-button applaunch windows are preset, but the EZReader technician can help customize which application are most useful to each user.
Use of the AppLaunch utility is optional. The EZReader technician will ask if you want a shortcut placed in the Windows Startup folder so that the utility runs each time you start windows.
The AppLaunch main screen is a standard Windows application, with a caption bar which can be used to relocate AppLaunch.
As mentioned, there are 4 different version of AppLaunch, providing single-click access to 1, 2, 5 or 7 frequently-used EZReader applications.
Single-click on a button to open the corresponding EZReader application. Right-click anywhere to close AppLaunch.
